All of our hobby blanks are prepared specifically for hobby wood workers. No seconds or shop scraps here. We share with others what we want to use on our own projects.
Wood Quality: Nowhere is it more true "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" than in wood blanks. We prepare blanks that are clear and free of defects. We also prepare blanks that have lots of "character" or slight imperfections. How much character is desirable is entirely up to the individual woodworker. Some prefer only perfect blanks while others appreciate the uniqueness of blanks that offer opportunities for using acrylics or fillers.
We maintain an inventory of blanks in three categories: 1) clear 2) some character 3) more character.
